Daniela Martins

Daniela oversees WEC's international and national media strategies. Daniela has over 12 years of experience in the areas of political communications and international reproductive rights.

Most recently, Daniela served as National Press Secretary and Hispanic Media Director for Priorities USA, acting as spokesperson and overseeing the entire Latino paid media strategy for the country's largest democratic Super PAC. She also served as statewide Hispanic Communications Director for For Our Future during the 2016 cycle, and as Regional Press Secretary for the Andrew Gillum for Governor campaign in 2018.

Working to advance reproductive rights in Latin America, Daniela served as Advocacy Program Officer for Planned Parenthood Global, overseeing regional and national programs in Guatemala and Perú. She also held positions in UNESCO and UNDP, executing international projects for the advancement of gender rights.

Daniela is a Bolivian-Portuguese native and is fluent in five languages. She received her B.A. degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from Université de Paris VIII, and received her M.A. degrees in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Paris' Sorbonne Nouvelle University, and from the Pontifical University of Salamanca.
